The Organization To Power The 21st Century ®

Ideas To Power is the member-powered think tank where everyone gets to be a futurist and share their ideas on important issues. If we are going to stay the most innovative nation in the world we will need everyone on board.  Ideas To Power demonstrates that anyone's idea can be great, and by working together on a problem our power multiplies exponentially. People like the Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison and Henry Ford were everyday people who had the confidence to think BIG. Most people today don't think they can come up with a revolutionary idea, and sadly that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

An active membership will always be the greatest strength of Ideas To Power. We urgently need forward-thinking people from every profession to become Ideas To Power members. The Ideas To Power Foundation never asks for financial donations from our members nor do we have advertising anywhere on this website. What we do request is your active participation and sincere desire to improve yourself, your community, and the planet we all share. With a coordinated effort and the right tools we will help solve the challenges of the modern world.

The Website To Power The 21st Century ®

The IdeasToPower.Org website is the home base of the Ideas To Power Foundation. As a whole the content is a mixture of aggregation alongside original reporting and commentary. We encourage our members to submit their own original content, be it a written article or video. We also constantly feed our website with snippets of thought-provoking articles from around the web. This keeps our members well-informed of new breakthroughs and helps to stimulate intelligent conversation. We encourage our members to alert us when they find something interesting in the media, be it on the internet, in a newspaper or magazine, or on a television or radio program.

Email us your original content or to point us to an interesting article or video.   info@Ideas2Power.com

In addition to submitting original blog articles and videos, all of our members are encouraged to 'Comment' on our web articles. We are aware that some members are just as interested in the comments section as in the article itself, and we intend to cater to those members also. You will find a convenient comment section at the bottom of each article.

None of the article summaries on this website are posted automatically. Each article is hand selected, parsed to 100 words or less, and then posted to this website with a link back to the original article. We encourage our readers to click on the link to the original article and then come back to this website to comment. The 100 word summaries are only provided so our readers can decide if the article is worth reading. Also note that we have no advertising anywhere on this website, be it AdSense or paid sponsors.

100 Reasons To Still Be An Optimist ®

The Ideas To Power One Hundred is our annual list of the 100 most influential organizations and individuals who are transforming our world for the better. The nominations and subsequent voting will take place on the IdeasToPower.Org website by our members. After we announce the winners each of them will record a short acceptance speech. Then we will string together all of the short speeches to produce a 60 minute video.

The TV Show To Power The 21st Century ®

Ideas To Power TV is a weekly program showcasing innovative ideas which could potentially transform our world for the better. Each week we introduce a new concept and debate it from multiple perspectives. By demonstrating all sides of a technical challenge we allow our viewers to form their own educated opinions, while at the same time providing them a jumping-off point for further personal study. The show will also feature original content submitted by our members.

The Ideas To Power 2050 House ®

The Ideas To Power Foundation is planning to design and build a house from the year 2050. This project will bring together the most innovative minds and tech companies. This is not one of those green-energy or gadget-packed houses you see from time to time. This is a house representing what a cutting-edge house could be like in the year 2050.

Disneyland did the same thing back in 1957 with their House of the Future. Disney jumped ahead 30 years to simulate a home from the late 1980s. We will jump ahead 40 years to realistically simulate a home from the early 2050s. The Ideas To Power 2050 House will be designed by our members, along with input from the world’s leading scientists, technologists and futurists. Almost everything in the house will be technology that does not currently exist, or is in an early stage of development. All simulated as realistically as possible.

The possibilities are endless when you open up your imagination to what the future could bring. Imagine you are in your media room playing an interactive video game in the year 2050. This is virtual reality like you've never imagined. You are immersed inside a holographic alien world created on the fly by your home supercomputer. Everything in your house is powered by a new kind of energy source. You take a quick break to chat with a friend who lives in another country. You both sit on the couch and talk face to face just like you were in the same room. In rolls your domestic robot with a cold drink. Now back to that video game...
